Victoria was Emporium Parties first franchisee and has been running her Emporium Parties business since 2005. She has 13 years experience in the children's' entertainment industry. Victoria is responsible for ensuring employees know where and when they have to entertain and contacting customers to confirm their party details. She is a valuable member of the Emporium Parties team and assists with training new franchisees and their staff as well as maintaining the company websites. Here's what Victoria has to say about her Franchise experience: "Me run my own business...organising and running a children's party and talk on a microphone... you gotta be kidding!.. that was the furthest thing from my mind. But looking back now, I still find it hard to believe that I do what I do and get a great income by being paid to party. My passion in life is dance. So to do what I do is just the best thing ever!. I have a husband, 4 children, a home and a part time job and still manage to run a successful business. My husband and children are so supportive in everything I do, I wouldn't be able to do it without them. My 12 year old daughter even helps with party prep and of course I'm just the coolest Mum ever when I was asked to provide party services at her school! Being the 1st trial franchisee, I was happy to plod along with just the 1 team. Now due to the success of the trial franchise and Emporium Parties offering franchise opportunities nationwide, I have purchased a 2nd territory and am now running my business full time. I currently employ 6 staff to assist with running parties and am planning to step back and hand the entertaining over to my staff in 2011, although i know i wont be able to stop myself doing some parties.

Giovanni previously worked for Melanie at the Haywards Heath branch as an entertainer. After seeing the success Melanie had with her business and the level of support Emporium Parties offered their franchisees Giovanni approached Emporium Parties and started his franchise business in November 2010. Giovanni offers parties in Brighton and Surrounding areas.

Here's what Giovanni has to say about his Franchise experience:

“I was so impressed with the formats of the parties and enjoyed being an entertainer for Emporium Parties, I approached Karen the company founder and asked for details about franchising in my local area, I started running my own parties on November the 1st 2010 and am so pleased with the number of bookings I already have in place.

I have already recruited 2 entertainers and my wife and eldest son also attend parties so from December 2010 I have already doubled the number of parties I can offer each week.

I am really excited about the potential I have to build my business and having the support of Karen and the head office team was a selling point for me. My wife is currently studying to be a teacher so I need to be on hand to look after the children, do school runs etc, so not having to be in when the phone rings is a must for me

I look forward to adding my progress to the site in the near future.
